With the Helpline’s Click to Call banner ad, smokers simply click on the banner to speak with a Helpline counselor. After selecting the Click to Call banner, a box appears where the user can type in his or her telephone number, and indicate when they would like a call back (either right away or up to 5 minutes later). | Retailer Training Presentation (Presentation, PDF) The training presentation, Stop Tobacco Sales to Youth: California Retailers and Youth Tobacco Laws, was designed as a self-education tool for use by retailers and their employees. It provides information about California tobacco control laws, tips on preventing tobacco sales to minors, resources for additional educational material, and resources about state tobacco control laws. This presentation includes an introductory letter to retailers, and a short quiz for you to print and duplicate. Providing the quiz prior to and after the training will help you assess how well your clerks understood the training material and whether they have the skills necessary to verify the age of a customer. |

| Tobacco Product Waste Reduction Toolkit - California Tobacco Control Program - April 2013 (Toolkit, PDF) The purpose of the Tobacco Product Waste Reduction Toolkit is intended to mobilize communities, including tobacco control advocates, environmental groups, businesses, and local governments, to address and educate about the issues of discarded cigarette butts in the environment.
